At Easter Sunday service, Pastor Bob told us to think about what we were thankful for this past year. ON the way home I asked my wife, Jeannie, what she thought of...it was the SAME as what I thought...we were thankful for finding The Chapel on The Hill and Bob and Sally Bardin. Sunday, May 2 at the 10:30am service, the Licary family of Fontana (Frank & Jeannie, Jennie and Phil) are joining The Chapel on The Hill. All four of us have made this decision and feel peaceful about it. We have been looking off and on for about six years for a church that we felt comfortable with. We attended churches in Rockford, Harvard, Beloit, Kenosha, Fontana, Walworth, Elkhorn, Delavan, Williams Bay, and Lake Geneva. Isn't it funny...when you are looking you are looking for something, you always find it at the last place you look? Jeannie and I agreed that it was "PROVIDENTIAL" that we and Phil and Jen decided to join The Chapel On The Hill church at about the same time. We prayed that we would find a church that had BOTH a Pastor and a Congregation that we would enjoy fellowship with. I prayed, "God, You have set the members in the Body of Christ as it has pleased You (1 Corinthians 12:18), so please put us where we can function as well as possible. Like how my nose functions as well as possible where it is on my face. You could have turned my nose upside down, it would have functioned very well as a chimney, but when it rains it would have filled up with water and drowned me. Or You could have put my nose under my arm pit, it would be able to breathe there, but it would not smell so good." Here we are....I believe God answered our prayer. We are where we can function most effectively right now. Another one of my favorite sayings is, "No matter where you go, there you are, so bloom where you are planted." Like the song says, "I'm so glad we're a part of the family of God; we've been washed in the fountain, cleansed by His blood! Joint heirs with Jesus as we travel this sod, for we're part of the family, the family of God." God bless us all... Your brother in Christ Jesus, Frank

Pastor Bob, I just wanted you to know how beautiful and meaningful the service was, when I visited your church as part of The Good Company. I truly do feel a part of your church family and I have made many dear friends in your church and in The Good Company. Penny Gruetzmacher
